So we are popcorn fanatics in my house! I love to try different flavors and I am always looking for new and fun snacks. So when I came across 479 Popcorn I was super excited. Not only did a mom create it, but it is also an organic snack made with high quality ingredients. Oh and did I mention that it also comes in the funkiest and yummiest flavors!

479 Popcorn began when creator, Jean Arnold, was a child and the only popcorn her mother served was organic popcorn from a stovetop popper. Since then Jean experimented with making her own organic popcorn and flavoring it with exotic seasonings that were inspired by her international upbringing and training at Le Cordon Bleu in London. Why is it called 479 Popcorn? Well, 479 degrees Fahrenheit is the optimal temperature for popping corn. So Jean started popping corn by hand in San Francisco with her husband and now she is selling her wonderful popcorn at 479 Popcorn!
479 Popcorn Features:
• Popped in heavy copper kettles in small batches and seasoned while still warm
• Never mass manufactured or stored in a warehouse. It is made to order, then shipped out same day.
• USDA certified organic.
• Only highest quality ingredients are used from local farmers around the world.

There were actually 33 toxic residues found in non-organic popcorn that have been linked to serious healthy issues. Wow! So I am glad that I enjoy this popcorn, since it is healthier for me!
What did I think about the taste? I loved all the flavors! They were just so different and I felt pretty cool eating gourmet popcorn. I think my favorite is the Ginger Sesame Carmel popcorn. It tasted so rich and different. My husband loves the Madras Coconut Curry + Cashew because it is spicy and full of flavor.
479 Popcorn is also so sought after and loved that it even made Oprah’s O List this month!

My whole family loves popcorn, so I’m really anxious to try this out, this could become my go-to when I need gifts.
