With all the artists out there, it is hard to find positive role models for young girls. I was just sent this amazing CD by an up and coming artist who is only 13-years old! She is the one and only Casey Jame. She is a regular girl who is living out her dream. Her role models are Kelly Clarkson, Idina Menzel from “Wicked,” Celion Dion, and Taylor Swift.
I let my 11 year old sister listen to her CD, and she loved it. She actually didn’t believe me that she was only 13 until I showed her the Casey Jame My Space page. I would classify her music as pop rock and it is definitely something to listen to anytime. Whether you are driving, jamming out with friends, or relaxing, her music is perfect.
Her music really speaks for itself and I don’t see how any young girl (or mom) couldn’t love it. It is fun, powerful, and fresh! I have a Casey Jame CD with her 5 songs on it for one of my lucky readers!
