Plasma Car Review: Super Cool Must Have Toy!
I am always on the lookout for new toys, especially ones that are simple yet fun. By simple I mean easy to put together, no batteries, and durable. Many of today’s toys require lots of batteries, special chargeable batteries, take hours to put together all the million pieces, or they are simply cheap plastic that fall apart. Another feature I am looking for is toys that have large age span.
When I found the PlasmaCar I was immediately intrigued. It is a state-of-the-art, high-quality ABS plastics racecar like toy for kids aged 3 and up, and by up I mean adults (under 220 lbs.) can use it too! The PlasmaCar is a light, yet rugged and durable aerodynamic toy that is powered by your arm movement. You sit on the PlasmaCar with your feet up and hold onto the steering wheel and start turning.
PlasmaCar Features:
• Built to last with High-Quality plastics
• Rugged and durable
• Super easy to put together and operate
• No pedals, gears, or batteries required
• Can handle up to 220 lbs. on a smooth surface! (Or 120 lbs. on a rough, flat surface)
Since my son is only 28 months, I had my 11 year old sister test it out. She loves it! At first she looked at it like it was going to be boring, but once she got on it, I couldn’t get her off! I know my son is going to love it next summer when he is old enough to use it. I of course used it too since I couldn’t resist and I am too hooked!
The PlasmaCar comes in a variety of colors like red, blue, green, purple, and pink. Like I said to propel the PlasmaCar, you rotate the steering wheel continuously from left to right. You can also zoom backwards by switching the wheels in the front. To stop all you have to do is stop rotating the steering wheel and then put your feet on the ground. PlasmaCar compares itself to a “Segway for kids.” It can go 2.8 meters per second, which is over 10 km/h! My sister and I tested it out on the flat sidewalk in front and we were able to glide pretty fast and stop easily.
The PlasmaCar is sold online at the PlasmaCar website and you can use the online store locator to find a store nearby you. It is sold mainly at toy specialty stores and there were actually quite a few in Illinois where I live. The PlasmaCar retails for $69.95 and it is worth every penny. With all the use my family will get out of it and all the battery savings, the $70 is nothing to the cost it could be!

I saw one at a local Target. They look really neat. Thanks for the review.
