iPhone / iPod Touch App Review: Count Caddy

ABOUT THE GAME:
Jinja the cat, Robin the bird and Harvey the dog team up in Count Caddy to get kids excited about counting. Children count along with Jinja by moving balls of yarn into a circle. Continued counting reveals surprise animations and new levels. Your preschooler will quickly progress to counting by twos with Robin and counting by threes with Harvey. This simple to follow app makes counting rewarding!

Count Caddy helps children:

  • Learn and practice counting
  • Refine motor skills
  • Improve concentration

MY REVIEW:

Aimed at preschoolers ages 3-5 years old, this was perfect childrens counting app for my son.  He is slowly learning to count and the animals and adorable graphics only added to the fun!  It is super simple to use and you just drag the items into the circle.  It will then display and say the number of items.  The images are different for each number and even though it may seem boring to an adult, my 3 year old plays it over and over!  Another thing your child will learn is how the two items compare, for example the cat counts balls of yar and the bird counts feathers.  I would highly recommend this simple iphone counting game!
