Okay, I admit it, I have lost my sons in the store before. Not for long, but I stopped to look at something in a department store and of course one or both of them escape! Well with us going to Disney World, I was worried because it is so big, and even though I only had one of my sons with, it was still hard to keep track of him. Now that he is in school, and will start having field trips, I am going to be a nervous wreck!

So what does a temporary tattoo have to do with keeping track of your kids? Well a mom of three from Baltimore, has invented SafetyTat, which is a fun and colorful safety child ID tattoo. You can either customize them with your mobile phone number or buy blank so you can write your own number on. Then you apply it to your child’s arm so if lost, you can be reached! It even stays in place when wet and can last up to two weeks until you are ready to remove it!

I used SafetyTat while we were at Walt Disney World just as a precaution and luckily we didn’t need them. It was a nice for peace of mind knowing that if Aidan got lost that a worker could call me, since he doesn’t know our phone number. SafetyTat would also be great for medical conditions to note if you child has an allergy or other serious condition. I really love though that these require no water to apply, simply peel and stick. I can definitely see why SafetyTat has won the iParenting Media Greatest Products Award, Mr. Dad Seal of Approval and the National Parenting Seal of Approval!  Oh and for the entire trip, I only need to apply the one SafetyTat as it lasted and looked great each day so I left it on.  Now we didn’t do any swimming so I am not sure how chlorine would affect it, but SafetyTat says it lasts through water.
