ABOUT:

“Wubbzy Goes To School” puts the “cool” in “school” with six charming episodes that will have everyone ready to hit the books. In “Who Needs School?,” Wubbzy is nervous about going off to school for the very first time and decides he can learn all he needs to know on his own. When things don’t work out as expected and Wubbzy has no one to play with, he realizes that maybe school isn’t so bad after all. In another episode, “New Kid On The Block,” Wubbzy learns that meeting and accepting new friends can be a big! big! big! job. When Murphy, a larger-than-life new student, joins the class, Wubbzy finds that good friends can come in all shapes and sizes.

Additional episodes include: “Gotta Dance,” “Wubbzy the Star,” “You Gotta Have Art” and “Magic Tricks,” starring Wuzzleburg’s own Moo Moo the Magician! Fans will also be “wowed” with cool bonus features such as the “Meet Wubbzy’s Schoolmates” photo gallery, coloring and activity sheets and more.

MY THOUGHTS:

This DVD is full of Wubbzy-filled fun! There are six episodes and they are all somewhat school related and have all great lessons. The first episode has Wubbzy going to school and he is so nervous and realizes how fun it can be and gets excited. My son went to preschool last year but only for a few months since he wasn’t 3 in the beginning of the school year, so this DVD was a nice refresher for when he starts next week. I explained about playtime (Wubbzy was in recess), listening to the teacher, and playing nice with friends. Since he doesn’t really have schoolwork yet, it was nice to see Wubbzy playing with his friends but still learning, shows how fun school can be! The episodes also flows nicely into each episode so there are no pauses for the Wubbzy marathon! There are also lots of singing and dancing, as well as the typical bright graphics from Wubbzy! Very fun to watch no matter the time of year!
