MY THOUGHTS:

When I first saw this set, I was very excited. My 3-year-old loves his Thomas trains and we have so many of them, but I always wondered why they don’t make a “chunkier” version for smaller kids. I mean the Thomas trains are a good size but then I see all the chunky cars and they are easier for kids to grasp, so I am so excited that there is a wooden Thomas & Friends set that is easier for kids to build and play with.

This Roundabout Station Set is perfect to start with as it has a tunnel to go under, railway crossing and it the track goes in a circle. The Thomas the Train it comes with a “chunkier” version but looks just like the original. My 2-year old definitely prefers this Thomas as it fits his little hands better and he likes that it is bigger! Oh and it of course still fits on the same Thomas & Friends wooden track so your child can play with it for years to come! Everything in this set is actually compatible with all the Thomas Wooden Railway products so you can connect track you already own to it or use the smaller traditional trains on it. My sons love to go round and round on this set and it has become a permanent fixture with the rest of their train pieces!
