Dominicks has just come out with a new program to help customers save money on items they normally buy!

About the Just for U program:

• Available in Dominick’s stores and in Hawaii
• Everyone gets free pack of Eggs for signing up
• Personalized Prices and Coupon Center are updated on a regular basis. Club Card Specials are updated every single week.
• Based on your purchase history and specific to each customer.
• Personalized Deals and Coupons available on your Fresh Values card within 30 minutes after you add them.

MY THOUGHTS:

I think this program is awesome!  I love that I don’t have to feel terrible that I didn’t have time to clip coupons or I can’t find them, at least this way I can save a little money quickly and easily.  So basically every time I am ready to go Dominick’s, I go to the computer and check out what is available to me through the Coupon Center, Personalized Deals, and Your Club Specials.  The Coupon Center is a large digital grocery coupon site that you browse and add coupons from, this is more general and not specific to individuals.  The Personalized Deals section are deals based on your history that are good up to 90 days plus can be used over and over again!  It lists on each coupon your Personalized Price and either the Walmart price or the Dominick’s Regular Price.  Finally Your Club Specials are items that you buy that are currently on sale, updated weekly!  The Your Club Specials basically looks at your purchase history and the weekly sales flyer and lists deals on what you normally buy.

After you select all the coupons and items you want to buy, you can then Print or E-mail the list.  Now whats nice is the list is printed according to section in the store like Beverages, Fruits & Vegetables, Frozen Foods, Canned Goods & Soups and so on.  Your printout also says what type (Personalized Price, One-Time Coupon, Club Price), the Price, and when the offer is good thru.

The best part is though that you can combine a manufacturer or store coupon with your Personalized Deals!  I really like this new program and even though I still need to take the time to go to the computer and add the coupons/deals I want to take advantage of, it really is super easy and quick.  With manufacturer coupons on top of the deals, you can really get some good deals if you look around!  Oh and did I mention this is of course all free to Dominick’s Fresh Value Card Holders, which is also free to get!  The only thing that is missing that might be nice is the ability to add other items to the list that aren’t on sale but you need.  You can though handwrite on the bottom of the printout those items which also works!

So for everyone who says Dominick’s is too expensive, they are just buying the wrong products or missing the sales!  I was able to find some great deals using the “Just for U” Dominick’s program including:

$1.69 gallon milk (limit 2)

$1.99 for a 12-pack Coke (limit 2)

$0.79 for 110-ct box of Kleenex (limit 1)

$0.88 Progresso Soup (limit 8 )
