Charter Mom’s Panel

Submitted by on December 23, 2010 – 2:00 PMOne Comment

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.

As a mom of two little ones, I only let them watch certain tv shows.  I admit they probably watch more tv than they should which is why we only have certain channels or DVDs we watch.  Its funny, we have a decent cable package but we only watch about three channels – Sprout, Nick Jr., and Disney.  We do flip to a few shows on other channels every now and then but we watch only kid-friendly shows while the kids are watching.  There is no certain time of day when they watch tv as we put it on when the kids are bored or antsy as it seems to calm them down and focus on something for a little bit.  I feel its important to watch age-appropriate shows where my sons can learn positive lessons and behaviors.  For example, they used to watch the old school Tom and Jerry and then I noticed they were fighting a little bit more than normal and we no longer watch old Tom and Jerry.

Charter Communications has created the Charter Moms Panel Facebook Page so moms can leave comments and ideas on what makes them happy.  They are hoping to improve their  to connect better with families and share new services and programming directly with fans.   I think it is great that a cable company is listening and wants feedback.
