ABOUT:

Both players secretly stack their animal tiles in their towers. Now the challenge and fun begins. Who can guess the order of their opponent’s tiles first. On your turn you ask a yes/no question like “Is the lion below the giraffe?” Be the first player to guess the order correctly and you win!

For 2 players, ages 6 and up.

Contents: Two towers, two tower bases, 12 plastic tiles, 12 cardboard tiles, rules.

MY THOUGHTS:

I think this game is adorable! The pictures of the animals on the cards are bright and fun and the game really is simple. There are three levels of lay also so your child can work their way up – starting with 4 animals and up to 6 animals at once. The object of the game is to guess the order of the animals by saying

“Is your monkey above your penguin?” The game is a Skill Builder game meant to teach: Matching Skills, Logical Thinking, and Deduction Skills. It reminds me of the game Guess Who but with animals and a little more tricky!

I think Animal Mastermind Towers would be a cute game for parents to play with their kids to teach them without the kids knowing they are also learning! My 4-year-old son loves to stack and match the animals right now, but since he is not talking yet we haven’t yet played played the right way. I am using the game to teach Above, Under, and to let me know which animal is missing. It really is a simple game but it teaches so much!
