We just got a new iMac and even with my old iMac, I never did much with our home movies or photos.  I always had good intentions, and that is actually why we got a Mac in the first place.  We had purchased software for video editing but never decided bought an image editing program.  I use iPhoto which is very basic and does simple editing but I know I need something fancier!

I would love to really get into using a Digital Picture Editor such as Photoshop or something similar.  I am not very savvy at photo editing so I do need something simple or at least something I can learn the basics of!  I don’t need anything too fancy since I am just editing family photos, but I would like to learn some cool features!  Right now my biggest editing challenge is red eye correction, which iPhoto does pretty good right now.

Photo editing right now is more important to me than video editing, I suppose because photos are easier to edit and I have no idea where to start with our home movies.  Basically I need Multimedia Software to do it all for me!  I am sure one day I will come across something, but until then I will get used to my new computer and wait until I have some free time….yeah I know I am dreaming!
