Price Pfister Ashfield Faucet Review (& Giveaway Ends 3/7)

ABOUT:

Pfister is a company that has been designing and manufacturing stylish kitchen and bath faucets, fixtures and accessories since 1910.  They back all their products up with a lifetime guarantee on their finish and function to guarantee that your Pfister product will be free of defects in the material and workmanship for the life of the product.  Another way Pfister stands out is they are continuously exploring ways to improve their products to meet future eco-friendly standards, easier to install, use the latest technology,  are ergonomically superior and reflect the latest trends in design and style.

MY THOUGHTS:

We bought our house almost 2 years ago and while it was not a fixer-upper there was still some things we wanted to change to reflect our style and modernize.  The first rooms we tackled were the rooms that are seen the most – mainly the kitchen and bathrooms.  We first painted the rooms but they were still lacking something.  So in our kitchen we replaced our kitchen faucet and wow did that stand out as nice!  Next was the bathroom, specifically the powder room, we replaced the old oval mirror, added some artwork, but the room was still lacking something.  Finally, I realized it was the old sink faucet.  Not that it wasn’t nice, but it was just plain and old.  We couldn’t really replace the sink because there wasn’t a lot of room for a vanity, so we decided to just keep our pedestal sink and update the faucet.

Pfister is a brand that my dad and father-in-law respect and trust, so that is the brand we first looked at.  While faucets and accessories can be expensive when you think it is cheaper than remodeling a whole room and that you don’t change them that often (if ever), the price is worth it.  We chose the Ashfield collection because I love the vintage look and it came in the colors we wanted. – Rustic Pewter.

Ashfield’s Rustic Pewter 8″ – 15″ Widespread Lavatory Faucet bring a bit of vintage décor to your home with the collections country pump handle design. The Ashfield Collection is guaranteed to be the perfect compliment to any project.

Installing the faucet was easy, once we got the old one off!  We did have to pull our pedestal sink away from the way to replace all the parts in the back since this faucet works differently than our old one, but it was nice to know we would have all new parts now.  It was pretty easy and took my husband and dad no time at all to install, they were actually surprised how easy it was to install!

Overall, I think the new Pfister faucet really spruces up our bathroom and gives it a clean and new look.  My sons also now love to wash their hands now because of how the water flows out of the faucet, they think its cool. I have already received a few compliments too and all for a small faucet replacement!  I will say too that Pfister products do cost a little more than off-brands but they are worth it and last.  The Ashfield faucet I choose retails for around $150, but again I probably won’t be changing it for a long long time!
