Blue State Red State Coffee Review

Submitted by on May 26, 2011 – 11:47 AMNo Comment

ABOUT:

Blue State Red State coffee is a slow roasted, fair trade, shade grown, organic coffee with 33% of all profits from the purchases going to a non-profit of the purchaser’s choice.  There is also a Blue State and a Red State Coffee brand which donates 33% to either Democratic or Republican causes.

MY THOUGHTS:

My husband is the big coffee drinker in our household and he is picky.  When I say picky, he doesn’t like the coffee to be too dark or too light and he prefers certain flavors.  Yes my husband is a coffee snob.  Well I slipped the Blue State Red State Coffee into the jar he usually gets coffee from and he immediately noticed after his first try.  I was thinking he was going to yell at me since it wasn’t his normal brand or flavor but he said it was good coffee and gave me the go ahead to buy more.  My husband said the coffee was rich, full of flavor and just right in its medium darkness.  He had no clue it was organic or that profits were donated to charities and advocacy groups, but he thought that was great!

It is not too often I find a coffee brand that my husband likes and the whole charity donation is such a great idea.  The donations are determined by the flavor you buy so there is nothing you need to do other than shop and enjoy a good cup of organic coffee!  I had actually never heard of organic coffee before Blue State Red State and with organic being so important to some people that is just another bonus on their end!

BUY IT: Check out Blue State Red State to read more about them and Start Shopping!  A variety pack of two 12 oz. bags costs about $19.98 which is actually quite reasonable for what you get!

Mom and More Disclosure:  This post was written for Family Review Network & Blue State Red State Coffee who provided the complimentary product for review in exchange for my honest opinions.
