Emailing Big Files…

There are times when I try to send files that are too big for other’s emails that I basically now don’t send attachments.  My attachments were mainly pictures anyway and I figure I now post everything on Facebook that my friends and family can check out the pictures there if they want to see them.  In college too I remember trying to send games, music, and videos to friends which back then email couldn’t even handle!  Email has definitely come a long way and I actually couldn’t imagine my life without it!

I cannot imagine though if I did need to send a big file what I would do, but luckily there is Adobe SendNow which allows you to send large files, up to 100MB for free or up to 2GB for a subscription cost.  The free version even allows you to send the file to up to 100 people and will store the files up to 500MB.  I think the free version would be fine for me, but I know a few people who would be very interested in the subscription versions which are quite affordable.  Although there are of course the people that never email big files and wouldn’t understand a need to.
