Freschetta Pizza Proud to Support Pink Review (& Giveaway Ends 10/28)

October is National Breast Cancer awareness month and Freschetta is doing their part to part to support research by presenting the Freschetta Proud to Support Pink Program! Through October 31, when you purchase specially marked packages of Freschetta pizzas and Artisan Pizza Crusts you will be helping Freschetta reach their goal of $50,000 donation to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Specially marked packages are printed with codes that you can enter at www.proudtosupportpink.com. For each code entry, the makers of Freschetta products will donate a $1 to this center to support breast cancer research, up to $50,000.

The site also has a place for people to share their breast cancer journey or the journey of a friend or loved one. These stories will be displayed on www.proudtosupportpink.com and on their Facebook page to inspire all those who read them. They will also be giving away 50 pink iPod Shuffle players each week to encourage participation and sharing of the program. Additionally, 50 more will be donated to four cancer centers around America to be enjoyed by breast caner patients during treatments.

MY THOUGHTS:

I love Freschetta pizza and I have loved them probably since they first came out. Now Freschetta has so many great varieties available including California Style, Naturally Rising, PizzAmore, Brick Oven, Simply Inspired, and By the Slice. They are frozen pizzas that taste fresh and crispy. Freschetta only uses real cheeses, sauces made from freshly picked tomatoes, premium meats and delicious recipes.

While Freschetta pizzas cost a little more than store-brand or even some other brands, it is definitely worth it! The crust is crispy, the toppings fresh, the sauce is just right!

BUY IT: Look for Freschetta pizzas at your local grocers freezer departments. Remember to look for the specially marked Freschetta pizzas to help support breast cancer research!
