Thomas and Belle to the Rescue Set

Ages: 3+

ABOUT:

Farmhouse Rescue is inspired by the 2011 DVD tentpole “Day of the Diesels” and includes a new feature character, Belle. Help Belle save the day as she chuggs up and over the bridge to the farm shed where she whooshes water out of her boiler to put the fire out! Then take Belle to the water tanker where she can cool down and fill up with more water. Little engineers will have hours of fun recreating the adventure at the farm shed.

MY THOUGHTS:

My boys love Thomas & Friends and when I saw that there was a wooden railway set inspired by “Day of the Diesels” I knew we had to have it.  They love the new Thomas & Friends DVD “Day of the Diesels.” It is a story about the Diesels trying to take over Sodor Steamworks because the Dieselworks is in bad shape.  Well after a fire, which Belle is introduced as a fire engine, the team works together to rebuild the Dieselworks.  My boys love to watch the DVD and put out the fire on their Thomas and Belle to the Rescue Set!

The set comes with Thomas and Belle train engines, as well as a water tower and a farmhouse which has a fire activated by pushing a switch up and down.  It also comes with enough wooden track pieces to build a basic set, enough for two kids to play on.  All the pieces are high quality as expected with Learning Curve and Thomas the Train brand.  My boys favorite part, probably the bridge!  After playing with the set alone, they couldn’t wait to add it to the rest of their wooden train pieces.

BUY IT:  The Thomas and Belle to the Rescue Set has a suggested retail price of $79.99 and can be found wherever Thomas & Friends toys are sold!

WIN IT:  (1) US winner will receive “The Thomas and Belle to the Rescue Set”
