Kikkoman Panko Makes Everything Yummy! (& Giveaway Ending 1/23)

As a busy mom, I am often looking for quick but yummy meals.   I am by no means a foodie and I like meals that don’t require tons of preparations or crazy ingredients.  One company that recently peaked my interest is Kikkoman.  First off when I think of Kikkoman, I think of soy sauce.  I had no clue that they made so many amazing products including Panko, Kara-age, Lime Ponzu, Rice Vinegar, Teriyaki Sauce, just to name a few.

In an effort to help homecooks everywhere, Kikkoman is sharing their special ingredient – Panko!  Kikkoman Panko is not just a crunchy addition to your foods but rather a way to create crispy, savory and unique dishes.  Basically Kikkoman Panko is a great way to add texture to dishes such as vegetables, casseroles appetizers, even desserts!

I got the chance to sample an awesome variety Kikkoman products and I love them!  With high blood pressure, I love that they offer a Low Sodium Soy Sauce too with all the great taste of the regular!

Where I would normally use bread crumbs, I will now being using Panko.  They give just that little bit of extra flavor and crunchiness!  So far I have whipped up Green Bean Casserole and they were a huge hit with my family (so much so I forgot to take a picture myself!)

Need inspiration using a particular product?  You can search Kikkoman by products and get Recipe ideas.  Like who knew you could use Rice Vinegar to make Memphis Style Ribs?

My family’s favorite new dish though is chicken coated with Soy-Ginger Seasoned Coating Mix!  All I did was coat some cut-up pieces of boneless chicken with it and fry it in some vegetable oil for five minutes on the stove!  Super easy and quick!  For me the taste was perfect on its own, but my husband was all about dipping them in the Kikkoman Lime Ponzu.

I’d like to try the Panko bread crumbs. I always see chef’s use them on cooking shows but I always just use plain old bread crumbs. I’d like to see what all of the hoopla is about!

Aside from the obvious kikkoman soy sauce my other favorite of theirs would have to be the Panko. There’s just something said about frying with panko. Being from the south, we tend to fry a lot of foods ;) But i do have to say, it is like day and night, frying for instance seafood, in the regular ol’ seasoned flour, opposed to frying seafood in Panko! it makes a world of difference, and tastes oh so much better!
