K’NEX Building Sets Review

ABOUT:

K’NEX is a brand whose goal is to inspire creativity, build self-confidence and encourage interaction among children and parents.  Their products include building sets including Sesame Street, Mario Kart Wii, Nascar, Monster Jam and Roary the Race Car!

MY THOUGHTS:

I love K’NEX products mostly because they are easy to build with, gives you the chance to use your imagination and the sets offer fun characters and product ideas.  My boys especially love the car building sets and it gives them the chance to not only zoom the cars around but actually build them first.  When they are not building cars, regular K’NEX is perfect for them to build all sorts of things including monsters with the Monster Building Set!

NASCAR Building Sets

These car building sets are perfect for any NASCAR fan or kid builder.  My boys are in love with building and cars so these sets were right up their alley!  The sets had enough pieces to build two cars in each set and they were pretty easy enough for my 5 year old to do on his own.  The instructions weren’t complex but had just enough pieces to make building them exciting!  Once put together my boys were zooming them all over and having fun.  They even started mixing up the pieces.  I couldn’t believe once together how well they looked like cars and stuck together.  These are perfect little sets for playing with or displaying!

My boys love being creative with their building sets and this Kid K’NEX set has just enough pieces to create a few fun little monster creations.  The pieces are bright and colorful and most of all unique!  K’NEX pieces snap together easily for my boys little hands and they are able to come with some crazy figures!  It is also neat because they are building monster figures instead of just buildings or their typical cars!

K’NEX Nintendo Mario Kart Minifigure Building Set

K’NEX Nintendo Mariokart Minifigure Building Set Individual Packs.  About 2 inches tall.

These little characters were my favorite because I was a huge Nintendo fan.  They come in just a few pieces that easily snapped together and then displayed or played with.  My boys thought they were cute and fun to play with but I admit I grabbed them later on to display in my office.  They make great little gifts for both kids and adults.  These mini figure sets can be found at your local Target store.

Overall, K’NEX is a brand that features so many great products from preschoolers and up that I have a feeling they will be part of our family for a long time!
