MY THOUGHTS:
Every January I am usually scrambling to get all of our tax documents together and every year I tell myself I am going to get a better system for next year! I have tried keeping everything together in a envelope but then the envelope gets misplaced and I tear apart our office looking for it.
Everyone should really have a Waterproof Fire-Safe to keep everything together, organized and safe! First off, its not like you can loose it or misplace it! Second, water-proof and fire-proof means it should be safe no matter what. A Sentry Safe is one you can trust and I really can’t imagine now how I lived without it!
I decided to get my Sentry Safe ready for next year by creating a Tax Time Survival Kit! I included a calculator, pencils, file folders and a notepad.
Not only is a SentrySafe perfect for tax documents but all those other important documents such as birth certificates, house documents, social security cards and more! I will say this particular model is heavy (about 40 pounds) but for the safety of my contents I’d rather be safe than sorry. The latch is a key-latch but it is pretty thin and basic – its not really meant to keep a thief out but rather keep out fire and water. I am not really worried about it getting broken into so I don’t mind the simple key.
Overall, I highly recommend checking out a SentrySafe to protect your documents and keep you organized. I don’t know what I would do if we had a fire and lost everything. Also, I found this model to be a perfect size for everything with room to spare of what I wanted to put in it. We used to have a small lockbox that I stored everything in but it was so small that we outgrew it. A bigger safe allows you to protect more and keep it organized.
BUY IT: Look for SentrySafe at your local Walmart or check it out online at SentrySafe.
WIN IT: (1) US winner will receive a Sentry HD4100 File Fire Safe and a $25 Walmart gift card to create the ultimate tax time survival kit!

I let my husband handle it. He is hyper-organized in that department. If I even attempted to change the system, I think he might have a heart attack.
Just use a file folder – so not very safe or organized!
We have a large safe, but this would be awesome for things we use on a regular basis.
I keep mine in a filing box I got from Target a while back. Its definitely now firesafe though so I would love to get a firesafe! Thanks for doing this giveaway!

I currently have a little cheap fire box I keep everything in, but as I get older and stuff there are more papers I need to store and I’m running outta room!
I’m terrible, I have no actual system…
I would keep my prior years tax returns in the safe. Your tax return is all a criminal needs to steal your identity. Everything is written on that one piece of paper.
I keep everything scanned into my computer and organized by excell.

Have safety deposit at my bank.
Thanks for the contest.
I keep my files organized by having them in dividers in a filing cabinet, but i can’t say much for them being safe there lol.
Hmmm, safe and organized. I have a shoe box. The end.
