Battleship has and probably always will be, one of my favorite games. I love the simplicity of it but the challenge and with Classic Battleship Movie Edition; it is the Battleship game we all remember but so much more! You choose a side – Navy or Alien – and secretly hide your ships. There are then different variations you can play, including one with movie-based cards which gives extra firepower. You draw a card and then follow the directions on it – such as Fire 3 Shots or Com Tower. I am too used to the traditional version that I don’t like the cards too much but for a new generation of kids the cards are a nice touch!

My favorite feature of this game though is the hard plastic shell case and how all the pieces store neatly inside. You just slide open the tray and your ready to set-up the game. The case locks shut and you can carry it where you want to play!

KRE-O Battleship Combat Chopper Set

My boys love the KRE-O sets and one that really spins, how cool! Assembly was pretty easy as the pictures were clear and easy to follow. My 5 year old did need some help (but then again it does say ages 7 and up) and once it was together he was off flying it all over the house. It is cute how it comes with two figures (a pilot and alien) too for extra playing. Oh and yes you can even shot little missiles out of the sides!

(Sorry I had thought I had taken pics of it completed but I am not finding them and now of course the helicopter needs to be rebuilt)
