MY THOUGHTS:

When I was younger I loved my “dollies” and always had one (or more) with me at all times. Jut recently actually my grandma gave me one of my dolls from when I was a toddler that I couldn’t believe she had this whole time! When I had my boys I will admit I secretly missed that I wouldn’t have any chances to play dolls or other girly things. Then came my baby girl and I have seen “pink” ever since. First thing first though I wanted to get her a nice doll that she can play with as soon as she is old enough. I know from my childhood that I dragged my dolls everywhere and it was amazing they survived, so a good quality doll was definitely a must. When I say the dolls from JC Toys I new I found them, now to just narrow down which doll I liked!

The 14″ La Newborns are so amazingly lifelike, you won’t believe your eyes. Each facial expression truly captures the innocence of a baby. Their soft knitted outfits make these dolls a special addition to any collection. $59.99

I don’t know why I picked La Newborn 14” other than to say when I saw her, I knew it was the perfect doll for Olivia. The doll is so amazingly life-like! It is anatomically correct and just so precious. The dolls toes are probably my favorite as there is just something about baby’s toes that are so cute! The doll comes with a knitted onesie, booties and hat, plus a birth certificate. Her eyes don’t close which is maybe a little strange when a little girl is trying to put her to sleep but every other feature about the doll is true to a newborn, down to the wrinkles on her tummy/back! The doll does not come with any accessories but with her quality I didn’t mind. She is also pretty durable and I can see her lasting through many playtimes!
