My 5 year old hates coloring and anything that resembles a craft but he loves this Magnetic Mosaics Kids kit. First, it has pictures suitable for both boys and girls and the option to download more. Next it involves magnets which fascinate him. And finally it features a chart which he treats like a code that he has to decode. To get started all you have to do is stand up your easel, pick a design and start sticking your magnets to it. It is amazing how it looks when your done and we have found its fun to both follow their color chart or make or own. My boys are learning to following directions, numbers, patterns, colors, and having fun with magnets! The sheets are re-useable too since you are just putting magnets on and off them. To help my boys I did color a few sheets so they could get used to the colors, I haven’t yet but I think I will download sheets for them to color and practice! This is a neat kit to keep kids busy and thinking. The only problem we have is one of my boys wants to display his creation while the other wants to start his! Yes they are actually starting to fight over it! I admit I made the train one and had fun waiting to see what my creation would look like. This is a kit that keeps on giving as there are so many creations to make or even design your own!
