ABOUT THE BOOK:

The wedding day, and each day leading up to it, is a special and exciting time. In this collection of 101 heartwarming and hilarious stories, brides and grooms, families and friends share their memories of the big day. With stories about everything from the proposal, to the planning, to actual wedding day events, the honeymoon, and all the joys and frustrations in between, this book will delight and encourage any bride or newlywed.

MY THOUGHTS:

I love weddings, something about the whole day is just magical to me and if I could I would get married every few years (to my husband of course!)  This book is an adorable book of stories from various family members all revolving around that one special day.  As a mom of three I will someday (hopefully) be the mother of the bride/groom and I also have six siblings so I will be the sister of the bride/groom.  Even though I have been married for almost seven years now I appreciated this book and would recommend it. This would make a great gift for a new bride or even mother of the bride!

prepare a supply kit for you and the bridesmaids!
Have a designated helper carry it to all locations for minor emergencies. 17. Jeannette Laframboise says:

My favorite wedding story comes from my cousin’s wedding that I attended just over 5 years ago. They had a very lavish wedding and they went all out, way out…They decided to have 4 doves released immediately after the ceremony was done. Two of the birds flew a circle and returned to their cages as they were supposed to do. The 3rd, flew directly into the grooms face and the 4th one promptly pooped in the bride’s hair…I don’t know if they were spooked or had never done this before but it was pretty much the funniest thing most people had ever seen. Everyone was laughing so hard for awhile. So much for the lavish wedding that cost them thousands of dollars. The bride was mighty upset but did get over it a few hours later and found herself laughing as well. ;-)
