Potato products are something my family cannot get enough of. Whether it be in the form of mashed, sweet potato, french fries or baked – we love our potatoes. My boys are partial to french fries but we are slowly expanding them to other potatoes. McCain potatoes are the brand I usually buy because they have a variety for whatever mood were in or for whatever I dish I need a side for.
One of the McCain products that we use almost daily is the Smiles Fries, which my boys call Smiley Fries. They are All Natural potatoes with a crispy outside, mashed potatoes inside. Its funny because my boys hate mashed potatoes but they love these fries. They are the perfect compliment to any meal I make for my kids. I just microwave them for a minute or so and my boys chow them down! I admit I have even made them for breakfast for them (hey it’s like hash browns!)
My husband and I love the curly and sweet potato fries from McCain, and it is not uncommon for me to make two of their products for side dishes for dinner! Their products just have that natural and fresh taste, even though they are frozen. They are our go-to potato product. I’d say though Smiles are the one product we go through the most since my boys are picky eaters and this is one of the few products they eat. With McCain being the largest manufacturer of frozen potato products, I’d definitely say they have it right with potatoes! My favorite quality is probably their fresh, rich flavor as other brands may taste blah or not cook to be crispy. I admit we will probably be making these for our holiday dinners as a mashed potato substitute for my boys! McCain is just a brand that for us oozes family appearl as there is a variety we all like.

Each of the kids seems to like them a different way, with the exception of tater tots and fries. One likes mashed, one baked, one boiled
