Lee Jeans “Find Your Fit” Style Party #LeeStyleParty

Jeans are something I have a love/hate relationship with.  I pretty much wear jeans everyday and that is where the love part comes in.  Jeans to me are just so comfy and I love how they can be casual or dressy depending on what else you’re wearing.  The hate part comes in with finding a pair to fit.  I have so many different brands, sizes and cuts and it can be a challenge.  So when I got offered to host a “Find Your Fit” Style Party with Lee Jeans, I jumped on it!

I invited 10 friends and family members of all shapes, sizes and ages from 19 to 40s.  Sizes ranged from 4 to 24 and I admit I was super excited for all of us to get personally fitted in the right sized jeans.  I think out of all of us, most of us had heard of Lee Jeans but none of us currently wore them.  Some of us felt they were an older brand our moms wore and others just didn’t know where to find them.

First we sat down and heard from the Lee reps about how fabulous Lee Jeans really are.  Lee features jeans for women in all shapes in colors and patterns that today’s women would love.  So many fun prints and colors, these Lee jeans are definitely not your mom’s jeans!

Did you know that the wash pattern up on your thighs is actually done by hand with sandpaper?  Yes each pair is specially scratched to give that wear pattern, no not holes just the white wash scratching.  We also learned how Macy’s is carrying a new premium line of Lee Jeans, which compeites with the more expensiver deisgner jeans.

As far as trying jeans go, our stylist looked us over and picked out a few pairs for us to try on.  I’d say most of us only needed to try on two pairs before we found our perfect pair.  Each girl tried jeans on, walked the orange carpet and discovered just how amazing jeans could be!  We were all amazed how how the stylist could pick out jeans that are perfect for us, no trying on a million pairs in some store’s dressing room.  I fell in love with two pairs of Lee Jeans, one pair is a Curvy Fit that is more for nicer occasions where you want to be a little dressy and the other the rep called “Yoga Jeans”, these are more stretchy and soft.  Both pairs to me look pretty much alike and both are comfortable.  They are part of the “Gold Label” collection.  What is great too is that I can pick any pair of jeans style in the Gold Label Collection in my size and they will fit just right.  They don’t have a huge rise but cover enough of my “mom pouch” that I’m happy and comfortable.  As someone 5’3 I was also happy the regular length fit me great, and were not too long like other brands are.

As far as I could tell, everyone went home happy and even wore their Lee jeans home (no one wanted to take them off!)  I am definitely sticking to Lee jeans and love that they are affordable at around $30 only!  Now that I know my size I can also easily shop on the Lee Jeans website, where I don’t have to worry about my size being out of stock and there are tons more styles available.  I have been getting compliments ever since and as a woman I feel more comfortable in my body wearing jeans that fit.

Thanks for including me in a great night! I have to say I wasn’t too sure I would like the Lee jeans that I brought home as they were completely out of my comfort “skinny” jeans zone – BUT I am happy to say that I adore them now and wear them all the time! Rolled up with flats with boots – they look great!

  2. I would have LOVED to crash the party because firstly, I enjoy Lee Jeans and the way they fit (they’re one of the only brands I actually LIKE) and secondly, it just looks like a lot of fun :)

  3. I own a pair of Lee Jeans and they do fit very well! I see they have more styles available. I’ll definitely look for them in store.
