Chuggington Die-Cast Wilsons Wild Ride Deluxe Action Playset {Review}

My boys love their trains but recently they have gotten bored with their regular wooden trainset. Then I got the New Chuggington Die Cast Wilsons Wild Ride Playset and they were amazed! The set is unlike anything they have seen before because it actually build up like a tower!

Chuggington Die-Cast Wilsons Wild Ride Deluxe Action Playset

Over 2 feet high when constructed, this exciting play set is based on the episode “Wilson and the Wild Wind” and features storm noises that play as the die-cast Wilson train makes his way around the track.

Okay so setting up Wilsons Wild Ride Playset did require my help to follow directions (my 4 and 6 year old just wanted to build it however they wanted at first) but the instructions were very clear and visual to follow. The track pieces also clearly have their letter identifier marks on them. I had the whole set up in about 15 minutes. I followed the tower design but there are other designs you can create and you can of course just build whatever your imagination desires.

My boys were able to incorporate their other trains into this playset as well as connect it to other sets as well. It includes an adaptor track piece as well to connect it to existing Chuggington Die-Cast tracks. In addition to the track pieces, there are also two trains included (Wilson and a train Hopper) as well as some fun hijinks!

Overall, my boys had a blast with this Chuggington set by Tomy. It was easy to set up, sturdy and came with everything we needed for a fun time. I’d recommend this for any train fan, whether Chuggington fan or not. It was definitely something different and my boys have continued to play with it since we got it weeks ago!
