Max D, Grave Digger, Hot Wheels & More at Monster Jam #ChiMonsterJam

From the first time we went a few years ago my boys have been hooked.  Since last year, they have asked repeatedly when are we going back!  Well it was time for Feld Entertainment’s Annual Monster Jam show and we had a blast as usual.  The show runs about two hours with a 15-minute or so Intermission.  The only bummer was that parking for us for $20 and souvenirs started around $15 each.

The show started out in the dark with all the monster trucks coming out and it was amazing!  It went off to have all the trucks compeiting  and showing off!

Of course we had to get a Grave Digger snow cone!

There was a little jet-powered car that fire shot out the back, this was something we never saw before and it was awesome!

My 6 year old loved the CAT trucks that came out to clean up the cars!

ATV riders came out and they jumped a huge ramp.  The best part though was when the ATV riders jumped the ramp and flipped upside down!  I could have watched that over and over!

Sparks!

Overall, Monster Jam is our favorite show of the whole year.  It is a family show and really a must see show.  I know some people might have pre-conceived notions about Monster Jam, but it is an amazing show with constant action and surprises.

I really really would like to take my son to this. I tried to contact them to see if they would work with a Blogger as I am in Bedford, Texas but they did not respond back and so I guess we will not be attending this time. I am glad you where able to go and have a good time though.

I’d keep trying to contact them. My rep does Chicagoland and she is always busy during the show season, so keep trying and you may catch someone at a good time! If you have to pay, opening night is usually like $12 a person which is the cheapest price.

  2. I’d have to wear ear protection too. My ears are so sensitive to loud sounds, but it seems like it would be really cool.
