Wordical Dice-Rolling Word Game {Review}

Before we had kids, my husband and I played games pretty much every night.  Word games were always my favorite, probably because I can actually beat my husband in them since he is a terrible speller.  He prefers dice games – Monopoly, Yahtzee and so forth.  Well Educational Insights has a game that combines both word-building and dice-rolling.

Wordical is a game where each player receives five cards and then rolls the dice.  You have to come up with a word using the vowels from the dice to try to score the biggest word.  It reminds me of Scrabble but with cards and dice for a faster paced game!  It is a different game that I ever would have thought of and my husband and I enjoy playing it after the kids go to bed!  Wordical is a simple game and once you start playing it is definitely addicting to keep playing and making the biggest words!  I love that the game stores nicely in the sturdy tin.  I have no doubt this will be a great family game once my kids start spelling as it will be good practice for them too!
