Learning Resources M•Gears® Bundle {Review}

Disclosure: I received this product to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

My boys love to build but sometimes I feel like all the sets are the same.  I honestly couldn’t even tell you which ones they have as they seem to have all of them!  Well Learning Resources has come out with building sets that are not only fun to build but they build cars!  Well they are sort of cars!

M•Gears® Bundle

m gears bundle

From the deepest regions of the galaxy comes the M•Gears® Space Squad. When an alien menace threatens their home planet of Gearon, a group of heroes join forces to save the day! These galactic heroes always work together to solve any problem, defeat any foe, and triumph over any challenge! When trouble is near, the Space Squad is here!

This trio of galactic vehicles provide hours of entertainment through construction and imaginative play. Perfect for developing critical thinking, problem solving, and fine motor skills, M•Gears pieces are compatible with other, popular building sets. Each M•Gears vehicle features a pull-back motor, offers extra replacement parts, and comes in a handy, re-sealable storage container. Best of all, all three vehicles (Krunch, Triumph, and Rover) can be combined to create a fourth, larger model.

These sets are for ages 6 and up but my 5 year old was able to do them with just a little help at the end.  What’s cool is you can then push the car back and it will go because of its pull-back motor.  They are not heavy duty and you do have to be careful handling them, otherwise at least they get the fun of building them again!  Each set comes in a small round plastic tub to store the pieces in but we ended up putting them all in one container.  If you have all three sets then you can then build a forth model that contains all the pieces.  My son can’t wait until my husband has time to sit down with him and help him with this!  I love how my kids then began experimenting with their pieces and building random creations, yeah for creativity.  Some of the pieces are small so they should be kept away from small children, otherwise they are fun and unique.  My son especially loves the drill-looking pieces.
