So how many times have you been at a restaurant and watched your toddler eat something off the table? I do it all the time, I mean I try to have him use the paper placemat they give you with the crayons, I tried giving him a little plate, and I even bought the rubber placemat with the suction grips that rolls up. Nothing seemed to work. My son either threw it, ribbed it, or would not eat off it! Then one day I was at Olive Garden and at the table across me there was a mother who peeled and stuck this thing to the table. I stared and finally realized what it was. Then it was on to the store, Target of course. I buy all my baby stuff at Target and they usually have everything.
I was thrilled when I found the Table Toppers by Neat Solutions. They come in different size packages and with different characters and are very reasonably priced at $8.99 for a 20 pack or $18.99 for a 50 pack. These placemats are also huge and stick just right with 2 long sticky strips. They do not destroy the table either! Neat Solutions is a “family owned” business that was started by of course a Mom! She started with the Table Topper and then went on to design other products including potty toppers, floor toppers, All In One Kits, disposable bibs, XL disposable changing pads and multi-use pads. Some of the designs are Winnie the Pooh, Baby Einstein, Sesame Street, Dora and Diego, and ABCs. One of my favorite quotes I read about the Table Toppers is “It didn’t make any sense…you spend the first six months of your child’s life sterilizing baby bottles and then you feed them on a dirty table!”
Now I know this is a simple item but it really is a lifesaver. I have even used this product at relatives houses also so my son didn’t get their table all dirty. (He likes to finger paint with his condiments!) It is also somewhere for your child to play on as it features favorite characters and designs. Ever since I discovered these I always carry I stash of these wonderful placemats in my diaper bag. These placemats have not only protected my sons from germs (not all but a lot!), but they have entertained them and made for easy clean up and I was able to lift up the placemat with all the food on it and throw it away. With two boys anything that makes my life easier, cleaner, healthier, and entertaining I have!
So to share my fun new favorite item with all of you I am giving away a BRAND NEW pack of 18 Disposable Placemats from Neat Solutions with the Winnie the Pooh design.
