I love natural products and I especially love homemade products. I recently came across Basa Body products and I received a few of their products to check out. Basa Body’s motto is “Nourish Your Body. Nourish Your Soul” and with that slogan how could you not be interested in their products. They make lotions, body sticks, and soaps.
Basa Body products began with a trip to Kenya where some incredible women were trying to feed their families. During that visit to the first small-scale coconut oil plant called Coast Coconut Farms, the women of Mombasa were producing pure organic oil by hand from the coconuts growing wild along the amazing coast of Kenya. Basa Body was created to help those women sell their oil and grown their business and of course share their natural healing products with the world!
Basa Body Product Overall Features:
I was super impressed with their products and it of course helped that I am a coconut fanatic! I received two of their products: The Basa Body Body Stick and the Pure Dark Chocolate and Peppermint Essentials oil soaps. I loved them both so much and oh they both smelled so good!
The Pure Dark Chocolate and Peppermint Essentials oil soap that I received was also incredibly yummy smelling. With its moisturizing cocoa butter and oils, this soap was also super smooth and definitely stimulated my senses. I felt so clean, fresh, and yummy, that I wanted to eat my arm! The Basa Body Stick is a healing balm that soothes, softens, and protects irritated cracked and dry skin. It is a push tube applicator that is super easy to use and works anywhere. I used this balm on my elbows, feet and hands and I could not get enough of the smoothness and smell! The balm soothed my cracked dry feet and made them stop itching and made them look a little more summer ready. You can also use the Basa Body Stick for Excema, Psoriasis, Diaper Rash, and to prevent chaffing. It is also a smaller size stick that you can toss it in your purse or diaper bag no problem! It does go on like oil so it does leave you a little greasy by it is absorbed into your skin pretty quickly.
Either of these products would make a great gift for someone or to indulge yourself with a treat. I know I don’t splurge on products for myself, but every now and then it is nice to treat myself with some great quality products. They also have some awesome lotions to compliment their natural product line. It is also nice to know that by purchasing Basa Body products I am helping make a difference with the families in Kenya who are trying to achieve self-reliance by creating these products.
