Back in August 2008, when I started this blog, I was clueless. I had never read a blog before nor had I really done anything as far as building a website since early college. I mean I am pretty efficient at computers and know my way around, but I swear I am losing brain cells each day I am with my kids! Anyways, so when I started this blog, I used a boring old Blogger template. Then I started googling and playing around with different templates, but somehow even if I thought I found a good one, someone else had it. It is funny but I am actually a contributor for Sited and Blogged and amongst that small group of contributors, someone else actually had my same design!
So I decided it was time for a makeover, a blog makeover that is! I scoured the Internet and some sites are so expensive or only offered parts of what I wanted. Since I am still a newbie blogger, I didn’t have a big budget for a makeover and really I just wanted a change. That is when I came across Subjective Beauty and met Sara Bonds. Sara is a Work-From-Home Graphic Designer who has done many of the blog makeovers of your favorite sites and she runs three websites herself: Ordinary and Awesome, Subjective Beauty, and Reviews & Giveaways.
First, off let me say that working with Sara was awesome! She is totally professional, yet friendly, fun, and very patient! Oh and creative! I had some ideas in mind for my blog, but not really so I filled out her Blog Questionnaire for what I wanted and emailed it to her. She immediately replied (I don’t think she sleeps!) and from there on it was like we were old friends. She knew what I wanted and got it going for me. So since March of this year, I have had this awesome web design at Mama’s Money Savers that I say is “very Cher.” (Anything I like or is would be perfect for me, my husband or friends say is “very Cher” as Cher is short for my real name.
Anyways, so the entire blog makeover process went super smooth and left me thrilled and happy with my site. It is nice that I have an original design and I can always go back to Sara if I have a question or want to change or add something. So not only did I get my blog makeover at an extremely reasonable price, but I also made a friend and got everything I wanted in a makeover. With her Custom Blog Makeover package you don’t just get the template, but so much more!

I love Sara. She totally rocks. All her designs are great. I particularly like Ann On and On.
