I actually probably bought too much and I only used those twin extra long sheets for a year, but they had to be just right still. When I shopped too, I had very minimal choices as there was just not as many necessities as there are now! Anyways, one great store to check out this year to get that college bound student to get CampusReady is Sears. Now I am an online shopper so I will be focusing on Sears.com, but you can find pretty much everything at an actual Sears store.
At Sears.com, first off everything is organized and there are lists, which I love. You can shop by dorm room, specifically which items fit your personality; I would be the “Funky Femme.” While shopping for dorm products, you can find coordinated sets and design ideas and find a list of everything you will need for your home away from home. A shopping checklist is perfect for me, because I love to cross things off as I go. For parents, as those that are paying their own way like I did, there are financial tips. Oh and finally, there are apparel must haves and links to all different types of clothing you may need!
Finally, Sears has even started a CampusReady on Facebook application to ensure that your freshman transition goes smoothly. Oh and to help with tuition, a total of $25,000 will be awarded through a contest where Sears has teamed up with Upromise.
