Have you watched truTv lately?

Normally I am not a reality TV watcher, but every now and then I will sit down and watch certain programs with my husband. truTV is a television show that features real stories and you should proceed with caution when watching. It is like American’s Funniest Home Videos, but the clips feature actual accidents and incidents where people have gotten hurt, done crazy stunts, and basically just lived dangerously. I could never do anything that that would be on truTV!

truTV’s slogan is “Not Reality. Actuality” and they also have a warning that states “truTv can cause physical and emotional effects on its viewers.” I watched a clip from “World’s Wildest Vacation Videos” and it had a man who was bungee jumping and the cord snapped. Luckily the man survived, but to watch it was still scary and crazy.

truTv is televisions destination for real-life stories that feature first-person perspective and action packed situations. Some of the fan favorites are the original series Black Gold, The Smoking Gun Presents: World’s Dumbest, Most Shocking and Most Daring, and Forensic Files. So basically truTV is not just one show but more of a classification of these genre of shows.
