Cooking School Weekend at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel

Okay so do you have nothing going on the weekend of October 16th and 17th, well the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel in Branson, Missouri is hosting a Cooking School Weekend. For two people both Friday and Saturday for just $398 you can stay at the luxurious Hilton hotel and take advantage of all their amenities and nearby attractions!

The Cooking School Weekend will first welcome everyone with a Wine Tasting Reception followed by a cooking demonstration with the Hotel’s very own Chef Nathan Read the next morning as he teaches participants how to prepare appetizers that were served at the Wine Tasting. Friday’s reception includes imported and domestic cheeses, crackers, Smoked Rainbow Trout with Capers, Brimstone Cheese Fondue, Smoked Newman Farms Pork Loin, desserts, and more!

Then on Saturday enjoy the shops, boutiques, restaurants, and river walk while you relax during the day. On Saturday evening participants will experience a lavish four-course dinner paired with appropriate wines and learn how to prepare the meal the following morning. Saturday is the main event and you will receive Smoked Potato and Ham Soap, Fall Harvest Salad and your choice of Midwest Bison Short Ribs or Berkshire Pork Porterhouse, followed by an Apple Normandy desert! So not only do you get to try out great wine and food, but then you get to learn how to cook the food yourself! Learn some new recipes perfect for the upcoming holidays! I know I could use a cooking lesson, especially on meat entrees as my specialty is ground beef! I also love to eat, so it sounds like a match for me!

So there really is something for everyone! I visited Missouri a long time ago and enjoyed it and I am sure it has only gotten better!
