An estimated 50 million people of all ages in the United States suffer from tinnitus, or ringing of the ears. The ringing ranges from a mild nuisance to that of a debilitating, chronic condition that interferes with their quality of life. Also, the ringing noise can occur as not just a ringing but also as a buzzing, whooshing, or other sounds in the ear. I also learned that while the ringing can be a result of age, ongoing exposure to loud noises, or from a damaging sudden noise occurrence, it can also be a symptom of something else.

Lipo-Flavonoid is a nutritional supplement developed by an otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat doctor, or ENT) in the early 1960s, and it has been providing relief and improvement of the ringing condition for many suffers. What it does is basically improve circulation in the inner ear for overall ear health. When the circulation is improved, the microscopic hair cells responsible for transmitting electrical impulses of the sound to the brain stay flexible, which allows fluids within the ear canals to flow better.

Now I am fortunate enough that I don’t suffer from this problem, but my father in law does. I do not completely understand his problem, but I figured Lipo-Flavonoid couldn’t do any harm. It is basically a nutritional supplement with vitamins that are know to help and maintain inner ear health and improving microcirculation in the ear. I also should note that while some people may experience an immediate change, it may take from three to six months to experience a noticeable improvement and it is for ages 12 and older.
