Shrinky Dinks Review & Giveaway (Ends 11/10)

One of my favorite crafts as a kid was Shrinky Dinks. I don’t know what was more fun, coloring them or baking them! Well Creativity for Kids has launched their first ever Halloween themed kit called Shrinky Dinks Halloween Fun.

I received this adorable kit to review and we love it. It comes with an sturdy, black velvet flocked tree and over 30 pre-printed spooky designs. We colored them all with colored pencils (which it came with), cut them out, punched holes (to hang them) and baked them in our oven for a few minutes. They shrinked to about 1/3 of their original size but increased to 9 times their original thickness.
Aidan was amazed, even though he didn’t understand what was going on. I love that you not only color the Shrinky Dinks but then you put rings in them and hang them on the 11” tall tree. It is going to be an adorable Halloween centerpiece that we break out every year. It is also going to be a great reminder of when we colored them.

Not a Shrinky Dink fan, Creativity for Kids offers tons of craft kits that are sure to please anyone of any age! Most of the sets average around $20 and for a day of fun and great memories, it seems worth it to me!
