AlikeList: Word-of-mouth but Online!

The best way to find out about a business is through recommendations and word of mouth. Even though everyone has opinions and they may vary from your own, sometimes recommendations and opinions can be very helpful!

A new website called Alikelist.com is a place where people who know each other and think alike can share lists of their favorite local businesses. You can create and save a list of your most trusted US business and quickly find other local businesses that suit your needs. The basis of Alikelist is that people trust referrals from friends and family and want to share their favorites with others.

Alikelist is basically the same as word-of-mouth, but it is online and more convenient to use anytime. You can get the address and phone number for the service, business, or restaurant you are looking for and then any comments about it. Alikelist is still very new so for example when I looked for restaurants in my area, none had been rated or commented on yet, but I definitely see great potential in this. It would be especially helpful if you moved somewhere new or just looking for something new or you need to have a service done. It is super easy to use and the interface is clean and simple.
