With Valentines Day just around the corner, I have been reminiscing about my wedding. This year is going to be our five-year wedding anniversary, but I can still remember planning it like it was yesterday. I planned and organized the whole wedding completely on my own and I did it with a budget.
With wedding invitations, bridal party gifts, wedding favors, table centerpieces, and of course all the other planning that goes into creating the perfect wedding is very stressful. Whether you decide to make your own items or purchase them ready-made, try to stick within your budget financially and time-wise. I actually did half and half, I bought some items, and honestly I only made the invitations and thank you cards. I was going to make our wedding favors, like putting the candy in the little bags, but I found great prices on items that were going to match our theme of “The Perfect Pear.” Everything else I bought, but I spaced out my purchases and used coupons wherever I could.
My husband did not realize how much effort went into planning our wedding, I think he thought he just came together all on its own! I do miss the planning as it was all worth it and was fun picking out all the items!
