I am a cashier at Dick's Sporting Goods and I just got off work, so sorry if I'm ranting. But this is for all coupon users...
Just because you find a coupon on the internet doesn't mean the store is going to take it.
For example... someone got one of our coupons, changed the expiration date and now it's all over the internet and in your purses! Our corporate office sent out an email telling us that these are NOT valid coupons and we aren't allowed to accept them.
So today one of the other cashiers asked if this coupon was okay to use and I told her no and she said that she didn't know how to tell the customer, so I told her and explained the situation. She blew up and asked to talk to a manager. So my manager told her the same thing. She told him that they (him and the cashier... remember her? the one that never said anything) were very rude and she was going to call corporate.
If the store won't accept the coupon.. move along with your life! You saving $10 isn't worth them losing their job!!
