This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of St Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches, Florida. All opinions are 100% mine.
When I think of Florida, I automatically think Orlando and Kissimmee, but there are so many more great towns that are worth checking out. St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra and The Beaches offer a Florida getaway that will definitely be an experience to remember. Now I personally love to check out new places, especially non-tourist towns that aren’t so crowded. Well these towns feature brick streets that lead to quaint restaurants and B&Bs and shops. There is even a centuries-old fort that stands guard, horse-drawn carriages strolling through the historic district and ghost tours to show off the area’s secrets.
I have never been to this part of Florida but it definitely sounds peaceful and relaxing. I think my favorite is the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel. It is a smaller, more intimate hotel, but still has all the amenities I am looking for including: outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, restaurants, and beautiful scenery. Now this hotel is just one of the hotels in the area, which is nice because you can choose which hotel suits you and it allows guests to spread out in the area. I would love to just walk around, shop, eat, and lounge by the pool!

Oh man, you should definitely go. St. Augustine is beautiful. The oldest city in America. My grandfather's ancestors were some of the first settlers there from Spain and there are many of them in the oldest cemetery there. There is also an original 1 room schoolhouse and so many other things to see. The fountain of youth is there. Awesome historical area.
