Lunchables Lunch Combinations announced a new program to help kids across the country go on fun, inspiring, and educational experiences through a program called “Field Trips For All.” This new program is aimed at encouraging kids to reach their full potential through allowing experiences they might not have had the opportunity for otherwise. “Field Trips For All” was started after a 2009 report from The American Association of School Administrators noted that school districts were eliminating field trips by another 56% in more than 30,000 schools.
Now I remember when I was younger, how much I looked forward to fired trips and how they really did help the topics we were learning at the time in school. Well now anyone ages 6 and up can nominate a deserving classroom. From all the nominations, 50 classrooms will be selected to go on an inspiring, educational experience!
I know my son is only in preschool but I think it would be great if his class could go on a field trip to the local children’s museum or petting zoo. I think they are at the perfect age to get excited and can start associating the classroom with experiences outside the classroom. Unfortunately, the classroom does have to be for 1st-8th grade students, so good luck to everyone!
I recommend checking it out as it sounds like a great opportunity and doesn’t take long to enter!
