Getting a lanyard for my glasses

So I am one of those people that loses their glasses while they are on their head, and can never find my keys or cell phone in my purse.  Lately I have been considering getting one of those beaded lanyards to attach it to them.  I remember back in the day (I know that sounds old and I am not that old yet) there were slim pickings for lanyards and they were basically black and only for eyeglasses and employee I.D. badges.  Well now they have them in all sorts of fun and fashionable designs and they work on so much more than just glasses and badges.

Now you can get a lanyard to match your style and personality, as well as your budget, to hold keys, iPods, cell phones, and more!  Of course if you are in the corporate world, there are tons of options for you too.  I know I was there and had to wear a badge every day and it was boring, I would have loved to get something more unique and more “me” but like I said at the time there really wasn’t anything else available.

Something too about a beaded lanyards just screams creative and fashion to me.  I am definitely one of those people who does not like to fit in, and if everyone is wearing blue, then I want to wear hot pink!  Not to say I don’t follow rules or rebel that often but after going to a Catholic school for eight years, I learned how to make almost anyone help me stand out from the crowd.  Now even though I am a stay at home mom, I still like to stay up to date on the latest trends and think about my future outside the home.  I think though for now I will start with a beaded lanyard for my glasses!
