I spend a lot of time in my car and I am absolutely terrible with directions. Before I had a cell phone, I didn’t really go anywhere and if I did I had my parents write down the directions word for word for me. Then when I got my cell phone I would just call my dad whenever I was lost and he rocks with directions to and from anywhere.
Then finally GPS systems became affordable and I got one! That was about five years ago and my Nextar GPS system is still chugging, but I will say that it definitely could use an update. A few of the major highways by me have changed and added extensions and those are not in my outdated GPS.
With summer traveling and just road changes in general, updating your GPS is just as important as staying up to date on oil changes. Updating your GPS includes new roads, convenient gas stations, ATMs and restaurants. Having those new destinations and routes makes driving easier and quicker, as well as safer!
Updating your GPS is as easy as visiting www.updateyourmap.com and following the drop down menus that corresponds to the GPS device. Installing an updated navigation map takes just minutes, but can save hours, fuel and frustration of being lost or late.
Don’t forget to check out www.updateyourmap.com for information and prices on updating your GPS!
