John Morrell – Allergen Free Meat!

Unfortunately we found out that my 2 year old has a peanut allergy.  Luckily it does not seem very severe because his reaction was not too bad, but he did test positive for a peanut allergy.  I feel lucky though as I know many parent out there have to deal with allergies to dairy, what, gluten, or are more severe with their nut allergy.  One item that I had not really thought about carrying allergens is meat, and yet many ingredients in them can trigger allergic reactions.

John Morrell, the maker of great tasting hotdogs, smoked sausages and bologna, now features their products free of allergens of milk, nuts, eggs, soy, wheat, gluten, and MSG.  So whether you are using lunchmeat or having a barbecue, you don’t have to worry about allergens.  The meats also do not sacrifice taste as they are still high quality products, and best of all reasonably priced!  They even went the extra mile to make their products in a allergen-free facility.  So you can rest assure that John Morrell meats will not cause allergic reactions, period!  No morereading or worrying!

I got to try out their Hot Dogs and I admit I thought they tasted just fine.  I didn’t notice a taste difference and I love that I didn’t have to worry about peanuts or being manufactured in a facility that produces nut products.  I am not a bologna eater but I am curious about their smoked sausages which will be next on my list.
