Tree Top Juice, Applesauce, and More Review!

Did you know that you can substitute applesauce in place of butter and replace white sugar with apple juice to not only cut fat and calories but also add cancer-fighting antioxidants and vitamin C?  Well those are just some of the ideas from Tree Top, a fruit-processing co-op owned by more than 1,000 apple and pear growers throughout the Pacific Northwest.  Tree Top is celebrating its 50^th anniversary of producing pure and healthy fruit-based products by encouraging Americans everywhere to eat more apples.  Some more ways to show off the benefits of cooking with apples, are freezing apple juice in plastic cups to make guilt-free juice-sicles or marinating meat or fish in apple juice for added flavor without the sodium.

Tree Top offers juices, applesauce, and fruit snacks.  They are very passionate in general about bringing forth the best fruit products possible, and they have been for nearly 50 years.

MY THOUGHTS:

I got the chance to try out their Apple Juice in a bottle, can, and their applesauce and they were all delicious.  You can tell the company takes pride in their products as they were fresh tasting.  So far in my area I haven’t seen Tree Top products but hopefully it is only a matter of time before I come across them as I would love to buy their products on a regular basis.  I love though all their ideas for helping my family eat more apple products and their recipes all sound awesome!

Tree Top is launching their 50^th anniversary recipe competition called “America’s Secret Ingredient.”  Contestants can submit their apple-themes recipes for a chance to win a trip to New York City to attend the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival in October.  The recipes will be showcased and some of the Food Network stars will be there!  Whether you are going to submit a recipe or not, I definitely recommend checking out all the wonderful recipes already on the Tree Top website!
