Co-branded by HIT Entertainment and Sprout®, each DVD in the Let’s Grow series is uniquely themed and focuses on areas preschoolers encounter everyday – safety, cleaning up, manners, friendship, cooperation and more. The series was created with input BY moms, FOR moms, to help preschoolers grow and learn alongside their favorite friends!    Episodes are woven together by live-action segments featuring hosts from Sprout’s original The Sunny Side Up Show™, along with their puppet friend, Chica the Chicken. The hosts and Chica introduce each story, demonstrate easy-to-make crafts tied to the program’s theme and encourage young viewers to practice what they’ve learned. Each Let’s Grow DVD will include a Parent Resource Guide filled with tips and discussion starters.

Through positive messages, captivating stories, imaginative fun, and familiar faces, Let’s Grow taps into HIT Entertainment’s library of quality programs to help parents help their young ones navigate their world.

The fun of learning continues in Let’s Grow: Safety First – an all-new, safety-themed compilation starring Barney, Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam and Kipper – hosted by Sean and Chica from Sprout®, the 24-hour preschool channel. MY THOUGHTS:

I think this DVD is awesome!  My boys are 2 and 3 and they are just starting to do stuff that they need to be more prepared for.  The episodes in this DVD (which the Let’s Grow series is only available on DVD) are all abut safety issues that kids face everyday.  They include what to do when there is a fire, encourage kids to wear their helmets, be safe during cooking, work together, using a first aid kit, buckling up and more!  My sons were really enjoying this DVD and I think it was registering with them that they are supposed to do those things to keep themselves safe.  I don’t think kids are stupid and if it takes a big purple dinosaur to teach my son to wear a bike helmet, then so be it!  What is great is that this DVD features all the popular Sprout characters so kids are not only watching their favorite tv friends but also hoping gaining some knowledge from it!  I love the bright animation and that the DVD is over an hour of fun!
