Finally, my husband got a new ID badge from work. He has been driving me crazy whining about how bad his is and how it is holding on by a thread. He thought it would be so complicated and he just walked into the office that does it and they printed him off a new badge with their badge printer and gave him a new badge hook. What broke it before was my sons constantly pulling on it when he would walk through the door and it got so bad that my husband had to tape and staple his badge back together. I still cannot believe how easy it was for him to get a new badge after months of complaining!
Now I am hoping my husband listens to me and takes off his badge in the car because he comes into the house, but he is a man and probably won’t listen. Then in a few months I will have to listen to him whine again about how the kids broke it and it is falling apart. I mean something so stupid as his badge has caused numerous fights because it always leads into other issues like I let the kids to something that my husband does not approve of or I say how it is just another example of how if my husband listened to me in the first place we wouldn’t have this problem! I am still laughing though at how ridiculously easy it was for him to get a new badge and holder, and how it only took about fifteen minutes from his day to do it. His work is pretty strict on IDs and his badge is what allows him access to different rooms and buildings on his company’s campus, so I can see the importance. Now if he will just learn to take care of it and take it off because the kids see it!

Yeah, what is it about guys where they don't like think things out ahead in their brains. Like if I do this, it will prevent such and such from happening, or if I don't this is the outcome that will probably result.
I have the same problem at my house. I truly think it is a guy thing. I also think as wives we make it worse because we bring up the look into the future thing with them. I think that only makes them more stubborn where they won't do it.
and they say we nag them then!
