With all the strip malls and mega malls now, there are so many smaller scale stores closing.  When small downtown stores close, the community suffers.  People loose jobs, storefronts remain deserted and more and more are outsourced to bigger companies.   Not only do small stores close, but also factories are shutting down with the work being outsourced to cheaper labor in foreign countries.  I think it is sad to see mom and pop stores close and Americans loose their jobs.  I feel especially bad for small towns who suffer and now have to drive farther for shopping.

Well now there is a company changing the way American business is done.  Ramblers Way Farm sources, grows and produces their fine woolen apparel using 100% domestic resources Made in America!  They have manufacturing facilities set up in distressed small down and are helping to revitalize the communities.  The Ramblers Way Corporate Office is even a historical landmark that has been restored to its original condition from 1792!  The building in Kennebunk, Maine, has been modernized to meet today’s environmental standards and fully refurbished.  I think it is great that Ramblers Way Farm is not only trying to keep jobs and products here in America but they are also trying to restore some of America’s history!
