Okay with summer ending, not only am I trying to jam in outdoor activities before the weather turns, but also I am thinking of winter activities for when we are cooped in the house. Here are five of my favorite family time ideas:
1) Have a game night – we don’t play real board games yet since my boys are little but we do have some toddler games or we make up little games to play like throwing balls into a bucket or hide and seek.
2) Go for a walk throughout the neighborhood and if we are really adventurous we have a picnic!
3) Build towers – my boys love to build so we grab our giant bucket of blocks and all build towers and then knock them all over!
4) Movie Night –I let the kids stay up a little later than usual and we watch an animated movie!
5) Go to the zoo – We have season passes but there is a free zoo by us too. We pack a light lunch and picnic there and walk at our own pace all around!
